Visit Tiggins Meadow

We ask all day visitors to either arrive on foot or cycle as Tiggins Lane is a beautiful Quiet Lane (formal designation by Suffolk County Council) much used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders.  If you are coming from further afield please consider using train or bus to Saxmundham and walking or cycling from there. If you do need to come by car please travel along Tiggins Lane slowly and carefully and do not attempt to park on the verge. In the winter months when the ground is very wet we do not bring vehicles onto the field at all as they will almost certainly make a mess of the tracks and may well get stuck – it is very sticky clay !  It is possible for one car to park on the hardstand in front of the gate – please only do this if mobility issues require it. When the soil has dried out sufficiently to drive onto Tiggins Meadow please contact us for access and parking information.
