While Tiggins Meadow is a privately owned site we have always encouraged family, friends and local people to enjoy visiting it. Although the main gate is kept locked unless we are there, the side pedestrian gate is always accessible and we aim to keep paths mowed. There are several seats to be used, and moved around to where you want them.

“A wonderful night under the stars……“
As the meadow has grown and developed it has become more enticing as a private place to camp, or to enjoy get-togethers, or to take part in activities and tasks. In order to keep track of such things, and in order to keep in touch with those people who want regular updates, we have created a membership scheme. Under the laws governing the use of land for private camping we are allowed to sleep overnight on our land for a fixed number of nights per year. We have never approached anything like the maximum level of usage, and don’t intend to, as we wish to keep the human impact on the field fairly minimal. That said, sleeping out under the stars and sitting around a campfire in a tranquil and private place is wonderful so we are happy to let members experience that. This is a Wild Camping experience – there are no facilities other than a compost toilet! You do not have to be a member to enjoy having a stroll around Tiggins Meadow, but if you would like to use the field and/or barn for any other activity please ask us about membership. It is free !
Membership includes: ✿ Quarterly update newsletter. ✿ Meet-ups. ✿ Ability to book exclusive use of Tiggins Meadow for camping or other activities. ✿ Opportunity to be involved in development and maintenance.
